U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that his battle against the presidential election results has now begun, expressing his sorrow at the Supreme Court's decision to dismiss texas' lawsuit against election results in four states, in a move that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi deemed "right."
In a tweet, Trump said the Supreme Court had really failed him, and then followed up with "no wisdom, no courage."
In another tweet, he said he would have won a landslide victory in the election if the legal votes were counted alone, not all fake voters and the fraud that miraculously emerged from everywhere, a disgrace, he said.
Twitter was quick to put a warning sign on the U.S. president's tweet.
Ambiguity and support
Al-Jazeera Washington correspondent Nasser al-Husseini said Americans woke up to the tweets, which were frequent for about an hour, noting that Trump did not seem to want to be out of the spotlight.
Hosseini said Trump's statements that the battle has now begun are unclear, as everyone believes that the legal mechanisms that Trump and the White House had to challenge the election results practically ended with the recent Supreme Court decision.
Al Jazeera correspondent pointed out that a number of states will witness demonstrations in support of Trump, expressing his belief that the President of the United States relied on the momentum of the earth and the momentum of his supporters from the Republican Party not to face president-elect Joe Biden, but to not disappear from view and remain a prominent news headline.
"Thousands are gathering today in Washington to demand an end to the election, I didn't know about it, but I will continue," he said in a tweet.
Suit and rejection
The U.S. Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and supported by 17 other states to nullify election results in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin.
According to the Supreme Court's decision, Texas has shown no judicially recognized interest in the way another state conducts its elections.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to hear legal arguments in president Donald Trump's campaign lawsuit seeking to exclude more than 200,000 ballots and overturn Joe Biden's victory in the state.
The court's decision came hours after a lower court judge ruled against Trump, arguing that there was no justification for recounts in the state's two largest counties.
Comment and warning
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the Supreme Court was right to reject the Republican Party's illegal lawsuit to annul the will of millions of voters.
She added that Republican lawmakers who signed a memorandum supporting efforts to reverse the presidential election results have brought shame to the House of Representatives.
Pelosi warned in a letter that they are undermining the Constitution and threatening to undermine Americans' confidence in the most sacred democratic institutions in the United States, she said. Republicans should stop the electoral conspiracy immediately.
A 126 Republican lawmakers in Congress signed a memorandum supporting the Texas attorney general's lawsuit before the Supreme Court.
Democrat Joe Biden won the election with 306 votes in the electoral college against Trump's 232, surpassing the required 270 votes.
Refusal to confess
Trump continues to refuse to acknowledge his defeat to Biden, asserting that the election was stolen from him.
From the point of view of Al Jazeera's u.S. election analyst and Newsweek columnist Peter Roof, President Trump's choices under the system are running out, noting that Trump is trying to keep his supporters supported and keep their ranks united.
Roof said he believes Trump really believes that the election was stolen from him, and that it was these breaches that helped get the results in Biden's favor, so he won't miss any chance to prove it.
Chris Edelson, a professor of governance and constitutional law at American University, said the battle is over and has not just begun and ended when the results were adopted and the president has lost more than once in court.
